The main reason that a lock can be picked is due to a sum of an accumulation of imperfections in their production methods, some voluntary mechanical tolerances and lock&#8217;s design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#5e80a2\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Les tol\u00e9rances varient selon les fabricants. Driver pins bind and results a friction proportional to the torque force. If the alignment of all pin&#8217;s chambers is perfect with no any defaults, then driver pins will bind simultaneously and the friction will be the same on each pins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the reality, manufacturers tends to reduce their production tolerances but the alignment of each chamber and pin&#8217;s geometry will remain imperfect despite the machining excellence of some manufacturers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#5e80a2\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Ainsi, quand on exerce une tension rotative sur le rotor, les contre-goupilles sont cisaill\u00e9s au niveau de la s\u00e9paration du rotor et du stator appel\u00e9e ligne de c\u00e9sure. Les contre-goupilles sont contraintes et il en r\u00e9sulte une friction proportionnelle \u00e0 la force de couple. Your pick slighly touch this pin and jump up on it. It means that this pin is binding to tight and doesn&#8217;t want to move down. If you push down to pick this pin and rise it at the shearline, another pin will bind respecting to an order called &#8220;binding order&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#5e80a2\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Avec une l\u00e9g\u00e8re tension, la contre-goupille (en rouge) sera plus contrainte que les autres et transmettra sa r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 sa goupille sup\u00e9rieure (en bleue). Votre palpeur effleure cette goupille et tressaute dessus. Cela signifie que cette goupille est trop contrainte et ne peut coulisser dans son logement.
